If you do the same things everyone else is doing you will get the same results. You know how mocked and derided I was back in 2015 for putting all of my money into bitcoin? Everyone I knew was making fun of me both to my face and behind my back. The things I was doing at that time were just too outside the norm for most people to comprehend. I was weird to them. Moral of the story? You wanna get ahead. Prepare to do some weird shit and be ostracized for it. Endure a decade of mockery and then have the last laugh.
Crazy becomes genius when crazy was just way earlier than everyone else. Like with Covid. “How did you know the vax was bad?” I took a lot of shit for that at the time too. Now not so much.
Same. I had a friend attempt to peer pressure me who later had a heart attack. Life comes at you fast.
Wild. I had a stroke
I play hockey with a children’s hospital doctor. Great great guy. Canuck too so he’s got that gentle kindness & trustworthy approach. He just could not understand my position at all. Didn’t push too hard but he thought I was fuckin crazy for not taking a shot & not trusting the narrative. He’s seen so many vax injured now that he wants to know how I was getting such good info at the time. My spidey senses went off immediately with Covid. I didn’t need anyone to tell me, I just knew it was the flu & I’ve never once considered a flu shot for me or my family ever. Gut instincts matter.
RIDE THE MOPED TO VICTORY
👍🏻🫡
This is the way.
I’ve had the same exact experience. In the beginning, the deepest cuts were from people I cared the most about. That’s okay. They just haven’t done the work. They’ve started realizing what we did long ago and now asking questions. What a wild journey it’s been. 🤙
Now let me guess: those same people think you got lucky 🍀
Most people still think you’re weird, honestly. I’m 2 1/2 yrs in and have orange pilled 1 person. I don’t waste time trying anymore. Go study or be happy staying poor.
Being right early is not an easy position to take.
There’s an element of that midwit meme that comes into play. Part of you will have an intellectual case for the unorthodox thing you’re doing but it’s not enough. You also need the left side of the curve to Forrest Gump into it and resist whatever mockery or reluctance. That was me just running head first into recent $15k priced sats.
I’m still being mocked by Wall Street, and Banker friends. Then I show them a chart compared to the Nasdaq and S&P since 2016. They go what the “F” Bro. “Well it’s too Late now!” They are clueless.
The normies… they’re never gonna fuckin get it. That’s why they’re the normies. Stop trying to appeal to the common denominator because the common denominator is LOW. nostr:note1tf2dmxk4ugtjzthhgg548y0gk7gt4nzf8f4ragfal56mg7d9m3aq7xul94
Be ready to be ostracized.. keep it weird. #weirdstr nostr:nevent1qqs954xant27y9ep9mm5y22nj85t0y96e3yn56375y7l6dd50xjac7sprfmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68yurvv438xtnrdaksygq6lcx8fc7h0p8t4ya9u0a92jnwavqe9rgjwwdw3wjgxfuxsz8rd5psgqqqqqqsuk65v7
I have two text threads with a bunch of my old coworkers. The larger one where we all chat about normie things, and the smaller one with just the handful of people who listened to me.
Not so much bitcoin, since it was only part of my portfolio. However, I get looked down on by smug homeowners, even one at a bitcoin maxi meetup (maybe it's very telling that he's a public school teacher)! I'm still waiting for the last laugh.
A decade 🤦🏻♀️ Awe 🫢 that’s adorable 🥰
