 Have you considered going the nostrocket route @gsovereignty has this exact same scenario in mind: some revenue, multiple/decentralized contributors, no-company. 
 I just pay contributors directly on the patches they send. More revenue = higher sat payouts. I don’t see why being a company or not would matter. 
 If you receive yourself, in a thing you control (similar to a bank account), you have to declare as your income and deduct expenses from it. I want to see if we can avoid all of that. 

On top of that, I don't want the legal liability of having made sale-based promises to users (like the translation item in Purple).  
 This is the problem I'm solving. Demo of the first business built on it will be at bitcoin atlantis

 There are no companies, there are no people. There’s just some magic internet money floating around. 😉 
 Also, setting up as a company puts you in the jurisdiction of governments. It is better to be gift and donation outside of their systems.
