Thanks for posting this.
Out of curiosity, what are the advantages of Mullvad self-hosting vs using ProtonMail?
I understand that you’re still outsourcing but if we consider ProtonMail as a private email service provider for individuals, is it ok for businesses to use it as well?
It might be easier to get businesses to switch providers than building and managing in-house.
No email or phone number required. You pay wirh bitcoin and recieve an account number. Pay more sats for more time.
Thanks. I understood that part. My question was about the privacy lost by Mullvad users if they run their customer support email with ProtonMail instead of using in-house servers.
Oh. Protonmail keeps logs of IP addresses.
And scans all unencrypted messages.
They keep information about your browser, OS etc.
Protonmail scans all unencrypted e-mails.
What is the point of paying anonymously if they know you better than you know yourself.
😁
They wouldn't be trusting a third party.
