I appreciate that. Personally I think it’s odd lots of left leaning folks moving to a heavily VC funded corporate entity.

What I like about the Fediverse is the ability to spin up a server using cheap, second hand equipment and build a community. Nostr takes it one step further in that you don’t need to buy equipment to set something up. That’s a pretty chill vibe if you ask me.

I was listening to a podcast yesterday on a major left wing platform, and academic complaining about how they were stuck on some evil corporate platform. If I had any hair left I would’ve torn it out at that point!

Be the change you want to see. 

 Everyone tends to like large corporations, so long as the management is on the same political side. 

 To me they seem to strip the soul out of humanity…

It’s funny, so people feel most politically aligned with the VCs Multicoin? Interesting. 

 The left has always liked big corporations, they just want to take them over and run them for the good of humanity.
