I've found the carnivore diet to my liking. I lost 7 kgs in two months with no exercise and one of those months was Dec and let's face it, I went off diet plenty for Christmas parties. Hubby lost 5 kgs in 2 weeks doing it properly. If you can water fast for that long, you can definitely survive the discomfort of carnivore and the sometimes getting bored of eating the same foods.
Thanks. I am well versed in the carnivore diet. I used to follow Paul Saladino religiously and I had his book the Carnivore Code first edition. It does work but for some reason I went astray and couldn't get back to a pure carnivore diet. Speaking of women in carnivore diets, are you familiar with Amber O"Hearn, Kelly Hogan and Jordan Peterson's daughter? They all had great success with the carnivore diet. I wish I could figure out why my weight won't just steady out. It is curious 🤔
I'm familiar with JP daughter's story but that it is. It was her story that made me first pay attention, but I've heard many since then. I appreciate the extra mental clarity and energy I have on carnivore. It's definitely helped with health conditions I've had for many years. I don't know much about weight issues, just that I accidentally lost a heaps on carnivore. Have you heard of or tried the 30/30/30 protocol? I've been keeping that in mind since I started working out.
Have you cut out seed oils? Have you had your thyroid checked?
Yes, I have been steering clear of seed oils for years now. I cook with butter only. I even stay away from olive oil because it is not a saturated fat. I checked my thyroid function within the last year. It's healthy. I actually had to convince the doctor to include a T3 panel which is unorthodox. But how else can you get a holistic picture of thyroid function without T3 and reverse T3 status? Go figure I am an engineer by training but she has an MD. She did't even know the difference between Adderall and Modafinil. With doctors like these, who needs an angel of death.
