Bears are around but generally stay clear. Bigger danger is from falling or twisting ankle.
It’s sad that a family can be torn apart by something as simple as a pack of wild dogs.
Not sure if all here recognize the Jack Handy reference, but as someone who loved “deep thoughts” ….I do.
Do you carry firearms with you when you hike in places like that?
Not here (bear spray) but in some regions - yes.
absolutely breathtaking! I have skied Vancouver BC..but never seen the BC mountains in the summer..wow!
