 @b17a3b4f The economy in Canada is 100% fucked. Housing, internet, phone, food, shipping, dental, etc. Basically every industry charges worse. This is what happens when you enshrine "diversity" into your Charter of Rights

 @970ab77f I doubt that's really the reason that Canada is so fucked, but I understand the sentiment regarding priorities and performative bullshit vs. focusing on things that actually matter to improve the lives and opportunities of citizens. As bad as America is, Canada just consistently seems so much worse. Which, is bizarre, considering how progressive neoliberals here will extol Canada as somehow something to aspire towards.
