 Have you tried the primal client? It seems to have more options for viewing topics and trending stuff. Discoverability is still a weakness of nostr.

 ok, got it, it has a bitcoin wallet too? it seems to want personal data for that so won't be doing that

 Looks like it. I myself use Amethyst along with Zeus wallet for managing zaps.
