ah yeah, a little pesky thing called NIP-42 SUPPORT is the missing link to real business on nostr (and also for interesting use cases like secure DM based control for relay administration) this is why i'm all about it, i'm so tired of hearing people talking about why can't you do this and that NIP-42 NIP-42 say it after me! whatchoo gonna do without NIP-42??????!!!

I seen a lot of e-thots come to nostr and Shilling for Zaps. We have too much porn on here as it is.....We need more regular people and no e-girls and e-celebs

Degenerates tend to have a socialist mindset (no surprise), and the more hard core of them find something like Mastodon/Bluesky provides the freedom to express their degeneracy while still having their perceived need for authoritarian dictates like censorship fulfilled. Anyways, long term I believe Nostr wins when different cultures develop organically around the protocol. It may never attract too much of "the left" nor even a fair amount of "the right", since that whole dichotomy is based on acceptance of subjugation.
My guess is the OF crowd prefers their content hidden behind paywalls/account barriers...even though it gets leaked and stolen. I think the value for value model is ideal for digital art, including pornography! But all in due time.
