It’s the one-trick ponies for me. Got zapped once for something so they keep going the same thing expecting the same result 😂🪦
It’s why I hate the “welcome wagon” zap parties. “My friend makes such and such content on X and are trying out nostr. Let’s show them how good it can be here.” Then they get zapped like $50 worth of sats for saying hello, and then wonder why their actual content gets only 21 sats. 😂
Yeahhhhh I think that’s true. For me, the best way is to not even think about zaps. Note with no expectations, but if you really want to be “profitable”, observe those who get zapped more often and what people find the most value in.
💯 post for the love of what you’re creating/posting. Here’s how I think about it. People like authenticity, and when you’re consistently authentic there are naturally going to be some who don’t like what you’re doing/saying/creating. But you’re not creating it for them. You’re creating it because you love it, whatever “it” is, and the people who also love it will eventually start seeing it, and that’s who you want seeing it anyway. It’s about consistency and authenticity and finding people you connect with and who connect with you.

We keep it real on Nostr https://i.nostr.build/Z5qj8.jpg https://i.nostr.build/2P77.gif https://v.nostr.build/YzAG.mp4
💯 greet & maybe boost. No false hopes 🥲😂
And sometimes the content you put more work into, doesn’t get a comparable value whereas your shitposts that took two seconds go viral. It’s a crap shoot. If someone wants a meme to do well for example, think about the audience. I prefer simpler concepts to niche ones that only a few people will get.
Yes 🙌 memes can’t be too smart or they’ll fall flat 🤣
💜🤣
Where could we go to see who is getting good zaps so that we could get an idea of what people are into on nostr?
