You didn't jump on a grenade. You threw one.

I may understand you perspective if you take the time to explain it rather than just say my note was:

Please explain to me your perspective as if I was your child.
You love Bitcoin. I love Bitcoin. We all love Bitcoin. And then proceeded to reference both candidates in the same light by calling them gross (whatever that means). Comparing these two candidates with the same negative adjective is nonsensical.
First off, I appreciate this back and forth. Sharing this opinion creates discussion.

I think both candidates are morally "gross."
I personally think that makes a lot of sense. They are both competing for the same system just competing from different angles.

I would likely be more content with the former President over the current Vice President being elected, but either way the system they are contending for has made my life more challenging regardless of who has been "In the Position of Power."
I’m all for debate. Without it, there is no growth. Unfortunately, sometimes you’re not heard unless you’re a bit bombastic.

Morally, I don’t think you know either of them, but only what media tells you. Morally, you and I are no better than they are (if you argue we are, you’re appealing to a standard that is above the law). Morally, they are sinners. Morally “gross”, is a blanket label and lacks any nuance. Applying a blanket label to the character of somebody you don’t personally know is nonsensical.

Yes, they are both competing for the same system. But the competition is not inherently bad. The “angle”, as you say, is everything. For example, one of them was literally given a nomination for the first time in our history, not voted to be a party nominee.

The system they are contending for has made all of our lives more challenging. Does the nature of the current system inform how we should chose for change? Absolutely. Is it helpful to assign the same arbitrary and malignant adjective to describe two candidates that could not be more in juxtaposition politically? Absolutely not.
I agree that I don't know either of them morally, and I am not above them morally speaking.

My adjective of describing them as "gross" was poor.

My objective was simply to guide folks to a better tool for tomorrow without setting either side of a cultural war on the defensive.
Genuinely shocked. How rare is it to see a man objectively assess his position and concede anything with no regard for pride. I’m broke as they come with 4 kids a wife, but I would support any reasonable endeavor you endorsed. We need more men like you.
I try to consistently assess my position in the Universe.

Most will claim they want the truth, but most will reject it when it appears to be going against them.

I think the truth is you and I probably will agree on most things if given enough time and energy to discuss it long enough without either party consciously not turning violent against the other.

I think humanity's history has proved this to be the case time and time again.

We must overcome that animalistic fear to turn violent while also becoming completely vulnerable to our brothers and sisters.

I assume with no doubt that you wish the best for your children based on your previous statement.

I asked you to speak to me if I were your child for that reason. I want to hear from a man who cares about his child.

It was great meeting you. Best of luck to you and your family. 🙏
Completely agree. Well said. And likewise! All the best.
