Always wanted a nice watch but can never bring myself to pull the trigger

Ffs can't even bring myself to buy a blockclock

Wen 500k btc
I want a blockclock more than a watch
build your own https://orange-clock.com it is a bit cheaper
Are you planning to live until 500 years old? 🐶🐾🤣
Wow bad doggie don't be a bear!! 🐾🐕
I am talking about waiting to enjoy life or getting yourself nice things. I am not talking about exchange rate, never do or like doing that. 🐶🐾🤣
Ok good doggie I'm retarded HERES A ZAP

Ok I'll buy a blockclock BUT IM WAITING FOR THE WATCH 🐾🐕
I am not a fan of watches, but I do appreciate other people having a taste for them. If it feels like something that will make you happy, go for it! Thanks for the kilozap! 🐶🐾🤣🫂💪🏻
 Reasonable approach 👍🏻👍🏻
My brother.. we must get you into a beautiful watch. Need to make it happen!

Let me help you find one in budget that will appreciate over time.

A watch is a liquid asset, and a secret handshake that opens doors throughout life, in almost every room you walk into.
Ok let's say something between 5k-10k what do you think
 There are so many options!

In modern pieces, steel Rolex, Tudor, some Omega models, GS, all beautiful and will outlive most all of us.

In the vintage market, I really like Enicar watches at those price points. Some really overbuilt pieces that hold their value. Doesn’t stop there tho. There are countless options, particularly military pieces, which will always be desirable to collectors.
I like seamaster aqua terra 38mm with orange face what do you think

There are some nice IWCs in that price range, especially if you like the fleiger / pilot watch look.
Send me pics of which one you like best! I'll look
I like the simplicity and readability of this one - it’s big one though (one of the few watch manufacturers that made fleigers during the war). But yes, they don’t hold their value like a Rolex. https://image.nostr.build/6ce0041abc2763d6301e279961c3175a8227012a5934f0ae46a32495f6b8462f.jpg
 Simple, elegant, classy, timeless 🫡
Not gonna lie, they have a big pilot in a brass case with a green dial that is 🔥🔥🔥

I believe it’s called the Spitfire.
However, just like Omega, I suggest searching the preowned market for a discount off retail
What do you think of Panerai? Went through a phase of liking them then not liking them 😂
Too big for me to consider, personally.
My wrist is only 6.75 and while I have some 40-41mm watches, that’s my limit.

I think it looks great on tanned, muscular guys who wear wife beaters or spend their life boating + diving.

But in those situations I want to ease into being an old man with a Vacheron 222 https://image.nostr.build/43ab524667ff8444833f5fc5fb1ea21aa5730d00d57c5d016875c23ebc676213.jpg
Check out some of their new rotating, bezel models, although the big pilot is definitely their classic 🤌🏽🤌🏽
I love their new pilot watches, but they too don’t hold value, better to buy those preowned.

You also need a big wrist for most of them.

The MK11 is my favorite model of those @ 36mm
Great taste. I've been drooling over a Speedmaster Moonwatch.
You see the new white one yet?
It’s a huge step for omega, and if I could buy any Speedmaster this year, it would be that one.
 The white one is sublime.
 BADASS
Even the white snoopy moon swatch drops in a few days. They’re on that white Kool-Aid this year.
I think it’s beautiful and you’ll love it, but you can buy it pre-owned at a discount and it won’t appreciate the way other similar priced pieces will.

Can’t discourage it because I like it, but please don’t buy it new!
Is it because they produce too many of them? Not very desirable?

Not looking to speculate in watches but I do want it to hold it's value if I'm gonna trade sats for it
Omega will always go down as the second best mass produced Swiss brand. They have a one hit wonder in their Speedmaster has stood the test of time due to its history in space, a feat many Watches can do now, but was that led them to over build the Speedmaster during the space race.

Every other piece in their collection comes second to that
If holding value is your most important factor. Steel Rolex is your best bet. Even with a 40% drawdown post pandemic, they still trade at close to double retail for the more desirable models like the submariner and the Daytona.

Those are usually not attainable models, but the incoming depression changes things and allows Normies like you and me without official Rolex purchase history to be friend a dealer and cop one at retail.
All things considered… maybe best to encourage you towards a Speedmaster

Because… We going to the moon!

Here a couple I saw in the past few months… one guy runs the van eck ETF, the other is a super serious Lange collector who shitcoins in Omega 😂 https://image.nostr.build/8471d2c735fed3999c2b35832241d146ce603011d47ab8f1e202edaae4574051.jpg https://image.nostr.build/534c53186258d6f77f2f0e5e484dc19397ff5211bf8bc3ee0645373be0ab6870.jpg
@Steve what do you think of Rolex 226570 (latest explorer II)
 I’m bored of modern Rolex.

Used to be ‘tool watches’
Now shifted into ‘luxury watches’

Although I do like the polar explorer
 Everyone has a price 😂
When you say nice watch, you mean expensive right?
Mid level expensive, i have my eye on omega seamaster aqua terra
Build an orange-clock! Sure its not as sexy as coinkite's but it's fun and you'll enjoy it, plus have extra sats for a watch (however it shows Moscow time so unsure why you'd need 2 timepieces )
it is open source, that is sexy 😅 but I know what you mean! 🙂
blockclock was my inspiration
Just buy a decent Casio. It shows the time. That's what clocks are for!
That's basically what I have right now lol
I collect them. And I know for a fact that they more exact then Rolex and so on
I got a nice watch as a gift many years ago and it’s still keeping me going. Start hinting at it with your family.
 2028-2031
you can get really nice watch for like $500-$1000. You don't have to spend a fortune. I used to be obsessed with watches too.
