Omega will always go down as the second best mass produced Swiss brand. They have a one hit wonder in their Speedmaster has stood the test of time due to its history in space, a feat many Watches can do now, but was that led them to over build the Speedmaster during the space race. Every other piece in their collection comes second to that
If holding value is your most important factor. Steel Rolex is your best bet. Even with a 40% drawdown post pandemic, they still trade at close to double retail for the more desirable models like the submariner and the Daytona. Those are usually not attainable models, but the incoming depression changes things and allows Normies like you and me without official Rolex purchase history to be friend a dealer and cop one at retail.
