@c713ed05 @a6ff0b2b John, I wanted to clear up a misconception here; the big win when capturing directly at 2x on the 14 Pro (vs just cropping later) is that the 2x capture is not a 3MP center crop of the 12MP 1x binned image then upscaled to 12MP - it’s a *natively 12MP* center crop of the full 48MP image. When you zoom to 2x, lighting permitting, the camera automatically switches the sensor to use the 48MP sensor mode, even if you have not explicitly selected it.
