 counter point to your point.

when kanye west was censored out of oblivion he just bought a new centralized service

when donald trump was censored he bought a centralized service.

when these people get banned they seek out centralized services still - this is extremely popular in the streamer community.

not one of them is a nostr user
The trend is unmistakable. Even figures like Donald Trump have emphasized the importance of platform ownership, as seen in his discussions with Theo Von about Truth Social.

Interestingly, none of these prominent figures have yet ventured into Nostr territory. This could be due to their previous experiences with censorship occurring before Nostr's inception or simply a lack of awareness about the protocol. However, once introduced to Nostr, its concept tends to captivate, spreading like a mind virus that's hard to shake.

For those who've felt the oppressive weight of centralized control, aka 'the matrix,' there's a growing desire to find refuge in systems immune to such manipulation.

Moreover, in today's digital economy, every business operating under fiat currency systems has a compelling reason to consider adopting a Bitcoin standard. Nostr, with its decentralized nature, offers not just a communication platform but a revolutionary approach to advertising and user engagement, providing a significant competitive edge in an increasingly digital and privacy-conscious market.
Your examples are billionaires trying to make money off of a website.
I believe billionaires have more important things to worry about than money. The point here is that Nostr eliminates the need to buy or make a platform as a direct response to being censored. It gives power back to the individual and away from the state/authority.
