Ok, resolutions have no enforcement power, sure. I don't think they should. But nations negotiating and communicating so they can understand each other's position better has got to be a good thing. That is what I appreciate about the U.N. general assembly. And when all but 2 vote a certain way, that is useful information, not something that should be ignored because the rest of the U.N. are communist idiots.
I would say Israel is committing ethnic cleansing, not genocide. A genocide requires an intention to eliminate a people, and 20,000 people out of 7 million is too slow to call it a genocide. They want them gone, but not necessarily dead.
Good point; I agree with UN being the place for discussion, and especially having the public vote record is a force for good. A weak force IMO, though.
