Especially olive oil? Lmao healthiest nations in the world consume a ton of it, it's incredibly good for the body.
Olive oil, like any other oil, is a fat concentrate and shouldn't be consumed in large quantity. Better eat the whole olive instead of the oil.
Fat by definition is a fat concentrate. What is a point of your message? What exactly is a 'large quantity'. Greeks consume 24L per year per person and their life expectancy is 84f/79m.
Whole food vs oil, so olive vs olive oil. Olives is the full package (fat, fiber, protein). Olive oil is fat only. It's easy to over consume fats with oils.

You can't link life expectancy with the consumption of a certain food. Consuming large amount of olive oil doesn't mean you are going to leave longer. Populations who don't consume olive oil, or little of it, have the same life expectancy.

Based on the nutritional facts on the olive oil bottle in my pantry, 24L a year, thats 540 cal a day. If you add the oily fishes, nuts and seeds, avocados, olives,... that's a lot of daily fats. Unless on a high fat diet.

You really should learn about the incredible health benefits of the olive oil. Olympic champions had olive wreaths for a reason. All this noise from carnivore 'i know it all you are a wrong ' are annoying and uneducated.
Do you know if the Greeks have always consumed that much olive oil, or is it a recent phenomenon? How much were they consuming 100 years ago for instance?
Greeks have been consuming olive since the beginning of their civilization
