Holesail is secure and no third party is involved, if the state allows it you are good to go.
I don't think so. This is a site to site tunnel, it's set up on the security appliance not the workstation. And the local workstation is accessing the state mainframe via terminal emulator. Will holesail run on a mainframe lol?

It's a cool looking project and I'll check it out, but I cannot install this on a government database server or mainframe, literally, I don't have access. I probably would if I could, fuck em.

It's so an Express DMV can connect to the state database/terminal server - but the Express DMV is owned by and in the same building as an auto title/insurance/notary office, so the owner just wanted 1 internet connection for both offices. tHe CusToMeR iS AlWayS RiGhT!!1
