RV outlets with stab/vampire clips are friggin awful. I've replaced nearly all of them at this point. I made my life harder converting my RV from 30A single leg service to, essentially 30A split leg, though, that's not done yet. 240V heat pumps are nearly 25% more efficient than equivalent 110V models, even for the very high SEER rated units. That pushed me to convert to split phase. It's not a total rewire, though. I'm still using the normal 30A input, just that I split that with a Victron auto former to feed the inverters split phase power (an annoyance of the inverter models I selected before I knew they needed split phase inputs to charge my batteries). Had I known what I know now, I would have picked a different model of all-in-one and could have saved myself a lot of hassle, but... It is what it is. 😅
