I’m really having fun again with @TPBPod. There’s some ebs and flows, but I’m fully comfortable being myself, giving my opinions not worrying who in Bitcoin will like it or not, not worrying about what companies or sponsors we will or won’t get (not making money on this), what conferences I won’t be invited to, and carving our niche out in ways no one else will, like trying to talk to progressives and democrats about Bitcoin, human rights, freedom money, critiquing authoritarians in all forms, yes including Donald Trump 🤡 Onward 🔥
Is Trump or Biden more authoritarian in your opinion?
Would need to go policy and decision by decision. But they both are in different ways, I think Trump objectivity more and in more harmful ways
What more harmful ways? https://humanprogress.org/joe-biden-kicked-off-the-encryption-wars/
· Attacks on the media and political opponents, which some see as an attempt to undermine the freedom of the press and political dissent. · Calls to suppress or punish political protests and dissent, which some see as an attack on the right to free assembly and political expression. · Attempts to expand executive power and bypass constitutional checks and balances, such as declaring national emergencies to justify unilateral actions. · Statements praising or supporting authoritarian leaders and regimes, which some see as an endorsement of their anti-democratic practices. Not to mention his Supreme Court appointments who overturned roe v wade and his statements saying he supports jailing and fining women who get abortions (insane) and being not clear on his stance on places wanting to ban contraception, wanting to impose religious tests on immigrants. Just insanity in a liberal democracy (and he’ll argue states rights, but no one should have to experience this in any state in the U.S.)
