I agree, wish it was easier to see your new followers.
I presume primal uses their caching service to pick up the follow event and sends the push notification. amethyst doesn't have this afaik s would have to get every contact list update posted to all relays in the background to see the follow.
Smells like there's a dvm for that...
Too much load on the client for very little return. I just unfollowed you & refollowed you. I expect 2 signed events were broadcasted with my nsec. Would you really want to know that? It would be really nice if I could see if a person is following me without having to unfollow them first.
I think I have the same issue on alll clients... But I'm still getting used to #nostr
