Few are willing to accept that olive does in fact suck
Good olive oil is possibly the least worst plant based oil (an argument for coconut oil can be made)...

But, gimme butter!
You need a very specific kind of olive oil that I can’t remember the name of. Something like organic extra virgin cold pressed olive oil. Most olive oils are impossible to distinguish from seed oils. And cooking olive oil makes it look more like a seed oil too. I guess if you want to eat a salad, good olive oil is fine. But if you can’t use animal fats to cook, I’d still go with coconut oil.

I’ll also take butter though 🤝
A lot of olive oils are not pure olive oil.
if it doesn't say "extra virgin olive oil" it's chemically extracted and hot pressed

extra virgin literally means cold pressed, first pressing
Even then, best case it’s purely monounsaturated fat, which still has that extra double bond that’s more easily oxidized. Evolution already figured out the perfect saturated/mono/poly ratios for humans: ruminant fat.
 Agreed
 And tallow.
 tallow > butter

stearic acid is really good for you
 Plus it tastes so good
Avocado oil has been making some waves recently. Don't know anything about it good or bad.
It's definitely better then a lot of oils. However there are better oils out there to use.
Coconut oil is still better. Avocado oil is probably better than most olive oil and about equivalent to the best olive oil.
