Saylor always seems sad .. Musk fake laughs .. Dorsey is mostly detached .. why people with so much money (and influence) dont appear happy .. at least in public perception .. I mean they must be having "image consultants" :-) #askNostr
Dorsey seems the most balanced, IMHO.
agree .. but he doesnt look happy .. may be he is .. but I am not sure ..
I don’t think it’s unhappiness. I think it’s the pressure of being in the spotlight and having every single thing they say and do heavily scrutinized in the court of public opinion. Also from a legal / governmental standpoint of parasites trying to extract their cut of the value they create. You know that feeling when you get on a video call for business and you feel like you’re performing to a certain extent because of what’s expected in that context? Imagine that times 1000 X and that is their everyday life.
Simple. Effort brings satisfaction. Have you ever played an amazing video game and then instantly lost interest once you figured it out? That’s why stocks instantly go down when you buy them. -Our matrix programmers need to keep us happy.
There's a reason I have chosen to remain a nym so far. Even if I end up being wildly successful, I don't want to feel pressured to "perform" my life as someone who is wildly successful. I'm just here, doing my thing. No amount of money will change that.
That makes me feel so good about #nostr .. ... being anon is legit now (again) .. it was so true for early internet ... but in between Identity web took over - and everyone must stick their entire profile to be trusted.. with a pic :-)
Maybe working for the CIA will do this to you. 😅
