I tried to do it by hand! So I did this actually. I completely messed it up. I was trying to find the guids and thr correct urls. I put a wrong url in for the feed url. I screwed up so bad that fountain still doesn't show the correct time value splits for this episode but I think podcast guru does.

Like I completely screwed it all up. But I did do it from scratch and I learned a lot.

And y'all pointed me to the split kit, which I couldn't use because email sign up was disabled. Idk if nostr:nprofile1qqsr7ar8mwhyh0xfz8jlqcq8z0x00j232wug799sspc7gk9wxt2a0vcpr9mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumt0d4hhxarj9ecxjmnt9u6pc2qa fixed that yet. But I'll try it when it does.

But, honestly I like what wavlake did here. If you are staring at the track already it's one click to get the template with all the correct urls. I just have to add the time. 🤷‍♂️

 Yes thank you. After rolling my own I've come to love sovereign feeds. It was helpful when I tried to do the LIT stuff.

And I've since learned (none of this was obvious to me) that sovereign feeds does the valueTimeSplit.

But it was still pretty frustrating to find guids and urls and the like. None of these tools care if the guid is correct. So I copied in the wrong guid and it broke. Even sovereign feeds won't validate this I'm pretty sure.

I'm trying here :) I'm just sharing my experience as I new user to this and sharing what's confusing and what's frustrating. 

 And as a Podcasting 2.0 veteran, I'm just trying to educate and share my VERY strong feelings about what is right and wrong, sovereign versus scam. I want to emancipate artists from emerging Industry™️ shackles because I have a decade-plus experience with the Value4Value ecosystem and believe in a free and open-source future.

The Split Kit also plays sort of nice with Sovereign Feeds, so you can build your value time splits in The Split Kit, then import them into Sovereign Feeds.

 Ok I tried this. This is just like my experience ok, don't jump on me 😀 

So I used the gui thing and built my blocks. I saw where to enter the time. The search function was cool.

But I don't get how to just get this snippet out. It seems like the split kit wants to make the entire rss feed. I'm self hosting castapod, I can't really replace the entire feed.

So I just need this podcast value split. I couldn't figure out how to get this in the split kit.
