Jealousy is ugly, I believe it to be your definition of envy. It is envying and believing that you are owed the same with no work.

Envy to me is your definition of jealousy. It is harmless. It is either an appreciation without the desire for it for yourself, likely due to an understanding of the work involved, or it is the motivation for you to push harder.

You are jealous of that kid in school who went to the same classes as you but did better. You envy the celebrity who has it all and wish to learn their ways.
I think this one lands better
You have your definitions backwards https://image.nostr.build/7bc6d49b7ecf6cd6fff3936fd8dd4aa7fa58c2a945c23720c09563ad689578fc.jpg
Definitions can change. You more often hear "I envy you" in a casual conversation than "I am jealous".

Regardless of changing definitions the idea that jealousy is healthy is ridiculous. Not sure what Hodl is thinking, this is some pseudo-intellectualism that really is poor.
