 @Powerlinx Kacho @:ihavenomouth:  @cassidyclown @m i s a n t h r o p i c i tried some wd-40. i guess i will get a steel scrub and try again after the vinegar soak im doing rn. thx
 @67975218 @:ihavenomouth: @m i s a n t h r o p i c @Powerlinx Kacho a note with the vinegar - it will make the surface super reactive afterward and if you don't neutralise it or seal it, a fine layer of bright orange rust will form on the surface. I've found just coating the thing in boiled linseed oil works since I cbf figuring out how much baking soda is supposed to go with the vinegar or whatever. The fine layer of rust isn't that big a deal though since it's pretty easy to scrape off manually.
 @cassidyclown @:ihavenomouth:  @m i s a n t h r o p i c @Powerlinx Kacho thx for the info, i didn't know
 @67975218 @:ihavenomouth:  @m i s a n t h r o p i c @Powerlinx Kacho it probably won't matter too much if you're going to beast-mode with some sandpaper/steel wool and wd40 after it soaks anyway. Mineral spirits are also nice.
