She seemed pretty set about it. Said she was raised in the south where the culture was that was her only purpose (get married, have kids) and she had some kind of epiphany later in life where she realized that’s not what she wants. 

I could tell that she hadn’t ever been exposed to the idea that anti-natalism was an agenda that had co-opted millions of selfish people though. So maybe I planted a seed (no pun intended) but I doubt it. 

I will say I will keep in contact with her because she is somebody I would be friends with. 

 Fair enough. Good thing she's a cool enough person to hangout with though. Worse comes to worse, you made a new friend. 

 For sure. I moved 3 hours away from where I grew up this month and don’t have any friends in the new area. So it’s a welcome development.
