The big problem with chickens are the feed. It's extremely difficult to source chickens in their ancestral likeness.

I purchase bulk from Miller's and store in a space freezer. Pastured, no soy or corn, ancestrally grazed and rotated, reasonable supplemental feed.

I feed them kitchen scraps 🤷🏼‍♂️
 Yard chickens? Awesome.
Theres plenty of foraging for them.
They don't spray, they don't vaccinate. No seed oil filler feed. Low PUFA.

They've done their darnedest to recover the ancestral chicken. I hope more operations follow.
 prices are insane!!!
The dollar is weak, and the market for old quality goods has become a luxury.
