Save money + free chicken broth with the carcass + render extra fat for cooking Whole chickens are the way https://relay.utxo.one/dec71413eaf6343accece9dd2e163178da79d86aecb7450803f76735bf6169b2.jpg
Ive been thinking about doing this. Do you just take everything off then throw the pulled apart body into a boiling pot for broth?
Yep exactly
The big problem with chickens are the feed. It's extremely difficult to source chickens in their ancestral likeness. I purchase bulk from Miller's and store in a space freezer. Pastured, no soy or corn, ancestrally grazed and rotated, reasonable supplemental feed. https://millersbiofarm.com/store/product/whole-chicken-5-6lb nostr:note15hj9xqjxp9ak9c52ntukwmeauacgu47h09ujv4v26ztk02rx3l6qa0qc23
