The raspberry pi is crucial because it's the one you actually get running, but it seems that within 6 months-1 year they just get outgrown and bog down

My son asked me what the blinking light was… I said hope. Well, I actually told him it’s our lightning node, same thing though. 

I can’t wait to pay him allowance in bitcoin - chores will be introduced at some point and he can begin his own personal stack.
