 well yeah I noticed this as well because I can't zap anyone using primal as it requires me to use their own wallet 

but I will reach out to their support to find out what's going on

Maybe Primal should deactivate trending until they figure out how to code it in a way that it's truly engagement based including comments, zaps AND reactions. Until then that sidebar is utterly useless.

Just to add, I don't care to be trending on Primal but it's obvious that that thing doesn't work properly.

 that's why it's called #primal 

 It's a list of featured account and has nothing to do with trending content. 

 but who decided to feature them? where's the receipts? why should anyone trust this, and shouldn't they disclose the mechanism of selection? 

 I just noticed that they're also still using note1... instead of nevent1... effectively not including the "seen by" relay information of the event. EVERY other app has adopted the nevent1 standard because IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE. But not Primal because they have other goals.
