IT IS A PRIMITIVE TRENDING ALGO THAT HEAVILY WEIGHTS REPLIES.
Feel free to look at the replies to those notes.
LOOKS LIKE NINE REPLIES ON EACH.

MY NOTE HAS OVER SIXTY.

PRIMAL TRENDING IS NOT RIGGED BUT IT IS BASIC AF AND NOT VERY HELPFUL.

Maybe Primal should deactivate trending until they figure out how to code it in a way that it's truly engagement based including comments, zaps AND reactions. Until then that sidebar is utterly useless.

Just to add, I don't care to be trending on Primal but it's obvious that that thing doesn't work properly.
 Yay I finally made it!
 that's why it's called #primal
It's a list of featured account and has nothing to do with trending content.
but who decided to feature them? where's the receipts? why should anyone trust this, and shouldn't they disclose the mechanism of selection?
