Nostr login doesn't feel free and open.

I either have to give my nsec or use some obscure login procedure that never seems to work on mobile.

This one requires an extension making it a desktop only app.

If we only really need an npub for stuff, let that be how we log in.

For everything else, nostr login is still an unsolved problem. 

 You can play on mobile with a Nostr signing extension like Nos2x for Android or Nostore for iOS.

Valid criticism! I will try to implement a way for users to signup to Nostr or play anonymously although there are dozens of snake games that don’t require a Nostr login 

 I use Amber on android with Amethyst.

I use GrapheneOS with the defaultbrowser and TRY to stick to open source software.

Is nos2x an android app you can get on the play store or a browser extension? 

 I believe it’s a browser extension 

 Also npub.pro uses login codes that they send via DM to authenticate you. 

 That’s a good idea, I have no idea what I’m doing to be honest just learning on the fly 😆
