It’s so funny everyone thinks they need special glasses or pinhole box to see the eclipse but all you gotta do these days is point your phone at the sun and look at the screen. 😆

Optics should be fine, sensor perhaps less so.
I’m not gonna point it at the sun for 20 minutes straight. The million of damage for the few seconds I snap a photo is hardly going to do any damage. I’ve taken pictures of the sun and spent a few minutes trying to get the lens flare looking the way I wanted and all that jazz numerous times in the past.

Still, there is something special in seeing it happen *with* *your* *own* eyes. Even if through glass. The analog experience is kinda special that way. 😋
