They can see our data, but we aren't on their platform. So it can't be used to manipulate what you see, the behaviors they want you to take, or to change you feed to manipulate your view of reality to their benefit. It's a *very* different proposition from simply being able to see something, vs having total control over what gets in front of you and when it does.
