Ok, so the relay is definitely generating a much higher quality feed than the typical experience. Notes returned were mostly from accounts I'm associated with, but there were some accounts I'm unfamiliar with who made the cut. I'm assuming they're "friends of friends". Almost without exception, the note quality was high. No mediocre 2-sentence posts, none of the typical "Bitcoin is the way" ra ra cheerleading. These are informative and interesting posts that I actually want to read from people I enjoy hearing from, or newcomers I want to follow. The mixed chronology is a bit confusing at first, but it's not a detriment to the experience. I am confused about how well this relay will play with others on a variety of clients. I imagine that the benefits of the algorithm relay will be ruined, or at least diminished when a feed is made up of a blend of relays, or by the client's own meddling. Overall, a really nice experience in this demo environment. It's just the concerns I mentioned about interoperability with other relays and clients I'm unsure of.
Clients will definitely need to provide some kind of view for just single relays like this, then different relays will have different algorithms you can toggle between Thanks for you feedback, glad you liked it better
