Oddbean new post about login | logout I suppose retirement means different to the individual. In my case, it is to no longer have an obligation to make a living and still live a purposeful and fulfilled life on my time. Nothing else is renting my life for the purpose of making a living.

I think you're right about the word retirement, because it kind of means you don't do anything, as you no longer "Work for a living", if I do "Retire" next year, if anybody asks me what I do, I'll just say I'm an "Asset Manager". Which would also be kind of true😬.
