@sommerfeld thanks
What? Can you see my reply? Is this real life?
@sommerfeld yes it is, I actually used a extension called "Privacy Redirect"
Can you see this too?
@The: Daniel⚡️ @sommerfeld yup
@Tim Apple I don't think you realize the significance of this. Our 2 universes are bridging. We are not from your world and you are not from ours 🤯
I really don’t understand how to find anything on Mastodon. It seems too fragmented. Instances don’t talk to eachother and I never got any engagement or sense of community. I do like that there’s a bridge to #nostr, even if I barely understand how that works.
I also don't know but I imagine that's how people on mastodon fee about nostr so we have to be fair. I looked at his NIP05, infered that he was in the social-dot-lol instance, went to that website and searched for timapple. It worked 🤣
@sommerfeld @The: Daniel⚡️ On bot Mastodon and Nostr, You have to know who you want to follow. It's harder to find rando cool people. Maybe easier on Nostr since the crowd is a little smaller. But I usually read a blog post, then see if the author is on Nostr or Masto.
But if I communicate with someone on one Mastodon instance from nostr and then talk to someone on a different one it looks like it automatically creates a new account for each one. That’s kind of a terrible UX. https://i.nostr.build/DRWa.jpg https://i.nostr.build/RWxB.jpg
@The: Daniel⚡️ @sommerfeld I just keep them seperate.
I mostly just stay away. Every time I go to Mastodon I feel like I’m using my outside voice in a library.

@sommerfeld @The: Daniel⚡️ I'm on nostr also, just not bridged ... timapple@iris.to
Does anyone know about this? A mastodon account just replied to my reply and @'ed me. I didn't know mostr-dot-pub supported this kind of bridging, THIS INCRDIBLE. Here's my reply showing up on mastodon: https://image.nostr.build/8e2e14b893689a0bae53df0571d0a712f29615af5088d8a7aac35683177ef1b6.jpg nostr:nevent1qqsqxe0p0fenfe2uf2vuy6pftqfjtupwqu6n4ugtg8025dw7y9978mgp2emhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgtmwwp6kyvfkwgc8gmpcvyenj6rgvdexzurpxqen2dfe0psksum2w94rgues0ym8gvnwx4nhqertxc68vvpkdf6xwettw9jxk734wpkqygyqpd6vrn3gmxg4ml2h270ga0e28282w623ef72mq3zx7xzer7ezvpsgqqqqqqsycaw7r
@Alex Gleason runs that bridge I believe
