We've had Bluetongue Lizards at our place for years, but I haven't seen any in two years.

They live for decades and we had a mating pair that lived under the house. A few years ago they had a few babies, the only young I'd seen, but birds or cats killed two.

Yesterday I came across my first live baby, I'm so happy to see they have been successful. I hope to see more.

 How big do these get?
Up to a foot and a half or 45cm for big old fellas. They are Australia's biggest type of Skink.
 Pretty big😊
This one was only a few inches long
 Better than a snake!
We've got a few of those too, I see them less luckily.
 Depends on the snake.
I could do without the taipans & browns...
