These follow packs for new users are essentially lists which are categorized and suggested to new users. We could easily do this on Nostr. https://bsky.app/profile/bsky.app/post/3kvu5e47w4s25
Doesn’t primal do this?
Nos, Primal, Damus and others provide lists you can use to find people to follow on install. But they’re all just picked by the app developers. I think with this users can make these lists for others. We have everything we need to do this but we don’t yet.
So basically a listr integration?
With UX to encourage how it can / should be used.
I think invites are more than just a collection nip 51 lists. They will need expiry options and reciept generation and other features specific to “inviting and onboarding”. A lot of us are working in this problem in silos… but we don’t seem to be aligned. Maybe good thing that bluesky has forced the issue… nostr:note166fh6dhlswsqytqewxq2c7yc0w78jc5keq24wcvssyhhkysxqeeqtfpt45
Snort has had friend invites for a while but I don’t know if they work now. Not a “pack” but a single person invites you
maybe we can work together for next iteration? nostr:note1zadktky9g780rdcu4kq4n6ddcfl8dtfgyz2skamxuf7ju53jjrpsh7g6v0
You need: 1. Create a list 2. Send invite to list 3. Auto follow everyone in list? I don’t know what Blue sky packs look like or do. Not sure what incentives you’d use
Did you read my article? Please do. Bluesky has gotten behind this “sharing invites” because it grows a better “higher quality” network. Everybody wins, but the network and invested businesses win more. Having Zaps, Nostr can incentivize advocates to share harder and win more. The power of “social onboarding” for everybody to win is obvious. Is it not?
