Roger Waters. Former lead singer of Pink Floyd.  Tours solo now.  Called the war in Ukraine "probably the most provoked invasion ever.”  Says similar things about Israel. Sucks because that puts him in a level with the likes of Ted Nugent, forcing old rockers like me to compartmentalize.

He's always been staunchly anti-war though, it's a consistent position at least. Anyone who opposes the war machine gets attacked by it's mouthpieces from all sides. I think he comes off much better in a long-form interview (like Rogan) overall. I personally don't agree with many of his positions but he remains an influential artist for me. As a teenager, I really connected with The Wall and it's themes. Even though they are at opposite political spectrums; it's clear neither Waters nor Nugent have anyone advising them and both do and say whatever they want.
