 It's a slightly modify version of LND. That was part of the controversy with the Mutiny guys. 
LND not focusing on Bitcoin stuff like Bolt12 and other stuff. Apart from the 24 locks that where happening with Zaps

 The hold invoice stuff does not really need any customization to lnd really. Last time I checked Zeus's code it was pretty close to vanilla lnd. Same as Blixt.

Also, BOLT12 is in the pipeline for lnd, so that's not true.

What other stuff are you referring to? 
Lnd is first out with Taproot channel support, which is great for privacy, which Zeus and Blixt now ship with.

 I believe I heard the creator says that on Citadel Dispatch. That they did some modifications. 

I didn't say that they where not doing anything. The work on taproot channels is highlyappreciatedm.

 I was referring to the focus on Taro where probably BOLT12 would bring a lot more value.
