You can simply mute / block the accounts. The way to do it is different depending on your client but you should see 3 dots or some way to access more options on their note.
Dont connect to many public relays, set up your own wot relay (you can connect to it with tailscale or tor if you dont want to expose it, https://github.com/bitvora/wot-relay), use some paid relays that handle the filtering for you.
