Many people in small communities around the US that do farmers markets are bitcoiners and don't know it. I only sold maple syrup for cash for obvious reasons, as many farmers markets do. I had no ambition to compete with the 2 families of large maple producers in my area that helped me get started with advice, and lending me old equipment. I wanted to sell outside our area online. But no cash option. As I researched bitcoin became the answer, I can share my farmers market good around the US. And I believe in bitcoin more than cash now. I am just a hobbyist but made 100 gallons of syrup from 5000 gallons of sap. I can't wait to see the nostr farmers market in a few years.
 That's awesome!

Should get a Bitcoin Circular Economy going so the Bitcoin stays in the hands of the farmers and markets. Not in exchanges.
 💯
I just was able to witness the process last week, in NW Wisconsin. My buddy has been doing it for years. It's so much work, so much sap as you note for so little yield.

Your way of making Maple Syrup is nature's Bitcoin. Compared to the FIAT store brand versions of Maple Syrup which can legally be cut with sugar and water.

 I feel inspired!
 its already happening in BG
I would love to hear more about orangepilling small farmers as some farmers in my country are starting to move away from banks and give out bonds to make investments possible. I feel Bitcoin also fits in.
Congrats! Awesome story and friggin’ GREAT syrup! I’m going to order some more for my sister’s birthday soon.
