W: try $3000.
M: I was speechless but my mouth was hanging open and my eyes were buldging.
W: they're rare so of course expensive 
M: we only paid 300 last time.
W: that was 12 years ago.

W: oh that's cute.  She calls and will go see tomorrow.
W: wow that is so cheap, I'm glad you found it.

I think I've been played.  Yesterday I would never have agreed to pay 950 bucks for a cat and now it's cheap.

They bring me mice daily, which is why I got them.
