@0c1a9324 Exactly the reason I have a folding phone. Poor eyesight due to cataracts developing after my heart transplant (worst side effect of all the immunosuppressant drugs) plus a preference for something I can carry in a pocket, so I don't need to carry a handbag everywhere. It's notable that many of my conversations with the medical profession (when I show them a spreadsheet of blood pressure or whatever) moves onto 'that phone would be really helpful for so many of my patients.'
@95a81082 @0c1a9324 in the states, jitterbug makes two phones specifically marketed for seniors and caregivers. https://www.lively.com/phones/
@d2c14843 @95a81082 Yeah, nope. I tried to get a parent (now deceased) onto a "senior-friendly" phone. Turned out it was just different enough from their existing Nokia that they couldn't learn it! By the time you know you need it, it's too late.
