@205381b6 Quite a bit like what Jonathan Pageau is saying. https://podverse.fm/episode/4ErofFo_x And the continued listening to podcasts and such is replacing our internal monologue. This will stop us from consciously analyzing our decisions, thus robbing us of free will. (And yes, I get the irony of referring to a podcast here)
@e5c81548 — perfect timing, thank you. Lately I’ve been listening to much less on my phone so I can think and hear life more clearly. The irony is certainly rich and deep! To seek insights from the same source (podcasts and online-interactions) where I sometimes struggle with a lack of temperance. 🙃 ——— C.S. @205381b6 @e5c81548 I listen to almost 3 hrs of podcasts everyday, it's my only form of news and entertainment. I agree, your internal monologue can get crowded out. Keeping a diary helps counteract that. I kept a written diary from 2020-2021, then began recording an audio diary after that. It really helps focus my thoughts and intentions.
