Oh my god dont even get me started on the free minis posts and then all you see is every influencer showing off their free stuff because of the site showing you what others liked... It would get to the point that every preorder Saturday all I would see is "Thank you kindly to GW..."

Sometimes it feels like there are two hobby communities: one that gets everything early (and free) and everyone else, who get things after everyone's moved on to be excited about something else (and has to pay for it).

I shouldn't let it bother me, but it does; timing of access more than the freebies.  GW's really dialed in a hobby churn and wow does the early access stuff amp up the FOMO.

Exactly! It's especially grating when they give out hundreds of something that is then immediately "out of stock" and unavailable for long periods of time.
