I agree that a single long post is better than threads.  But clients already render conversation threads (replies), what is so different about replying to your own note?

 Yeah it can be a bit buggy, but it generally works on Damus.

IMO not rendering a conversation of replies, in order, would be a huge miss. 

 Just listened to your "hodlbod says" segment on pablo.review, you have convinced me. But I think maybe we already have this right? Aka quote notes and/or reposts. Reposts with content would be ideal because you already have the quoted note embedded. But I don't think we quite have that. Maybe I'll draft a nip.
