@40ceb4c5 Ah, if it's the same employer that I previously worked for, the full-team days were the best aspect of the job, even when I had to elbow other trained staff out of the way to assist a woman who'd collapsed while we waited for an ambulance to arrive. Folks get jittery about real-life crises, apparently.
Anyway, I hope that you survive the day intact, or nearly so.
@cc5f5990 I mean, I love my team, I love working here, but it just isn't in my nature to do teambuilding exercises. I could be working for the Unicorn Riding/Kitten Petting facility and I'd be like, ooh, you want to do icebreakers? I'm actually going to just... somersault out the window
@cc5f5990 now if it was me and my team sitting around and shooting the breeze, I'd be fully onboard. or at an escape room, or throwing axes... something that is done for fun, and not for pointlessness.

Oh, I'm well-aware that teambuilding is well outside the comfort zone of plenty of people. Being an extrovert, I love the opportunity to get to know coworkers on a different level.
It wouldn't hurt to suggest axe-throwing or an escape room to your team as a not-work activity. Much better than the extreme consumption of alcohol that happens at many work gatherings. I'd rather not watch my supervisor puke, thanks very much!
